Amazing place with amazing staff who truly love what they do. Rented the motorbike here. Bike was well maintained so I had a smooth stress free ride. Congratulations to all the Makani staff for their hospitality and helpfulness. The motorcycle was perfect for a magnificent tour through the Garden Route, Route 62, the Cape and the winelands.

I contacted 4 motorcycle hire firms to arrange hire for a road trip I was planning out of Cape Town. Makani were 1 of only 2 that replied, the other place quoted me a price that was way more for the motorbike hire alone and would not plan an itinerary until I paid a deposit and agreed to the hire. Dave and Yvonne by comparison were so helpful, they planned an itinerary for me and only asked for a deposit to firm everything up after I had decided I wanted to go with them. They put together an excellent self guided tour for me to follow along the garden route with some fantastic accommodation to stay at, my trip lasted 10 days and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. They supported me via WhatsApp sending me tips and sights to see and sorting any issues I might have had. They made my trip easy and so very special, an experience I will never forget.
