I can't recommend this place enough. To be fair, I didn't have much interaction with other motorbike rental places, because nobody else had the particular motorbike I wanted, but service and customer care at TBR was over the top. They informed me extensively about what I might expect on my multi-day trip to Pai, and they were very patient with me and held the motorbike, as I weighed some of the legal and financial risks, for about 90 minutes! One staff member even gave me the lunch he'd just had delivered, because he knew that I needed to eat before getting on the road! They were very clear and thorough in communicating about pricing, deposit, etc, and the motorbike was in very good condition. They did multiple checks of fluids, brakes, lights, etc, and encouraged me to take a video of the motorbike before leaving. One piece of critical feedback is that the helmet selection might benefit from a refresher, or at least the visors. After trying several, the one I found that fit my head had a face shield that turned out to be so beat up that it was a real issue when driving in dusk or darkness. Easy fix. I ended up extending my rental twice, and it was easy communication by WhatsApp. Thanks TBR! This will be my go-to in Chiang Mai from now on.
