I hail from a non-western country, so some rentals outright refused to rent me a bike, citing requirements imposed by their insurance. This is when I found the rental shop through Riderly. They said they were ok with my docs, and on the day I appeared to collect the bike indeed they were. The bike was exactly the model that I rented and came with a large top case. A collection of helmets of different sizes and types was available, from which I was able to choose one fitting my head. They also kept a huge suitcase that I flew in with for 2.5 weeks in their storage room for me. 2.5 weeks is how long I rode it, went to Switzerland and God knows through how many mountain passes, and the bike never failed me. Having returned it, my security deposit was immediately released. Now, 3 days after and having somewhat recovered from an arduous travel in gruesome summer heatwave, I'm already pondering another trip in autumn. If that eventually happens, the rental shop is who I'll go to for the bike.
