We booked a scooter online and arrived at the rental shop, where we sat down and dropped off our luggage while waiting for our documents (driving license) to be processed. While we rested, the staff tested our scooter to make sure it was in working order. We were perplexed that the staff tried to start it about 5 times without success before it started; we feared the same would happen to us. Instead, the scooter worked GREAT, holding up even on the dirt road. The scooter had very little fuel consumption, and even though the seat latch wouldn't lock, everything else worked perfectly; we were happy with how it worked! One last thing: our bank is fairly cheap or basic, so unfortunately it took almost 30 days for it to refund our deposit. After about 15 days, we wrote to the rental shop manager, somewhat concerned, and he responded immediately—a minute after sending the email, actually—reassuring us that four transactions were recorded in their systems under our name. We then realized that the error wasn't the rental shop's, but simply our bank, which is very slow. We therefore recommend this rental shop!
