I rented a Voge motorcycle around Easter 2024. Contract number NOL00582 of a Voge Valico from 04/04/2024 to 07/04/2024. Brake oil level was below minimum. Coolant level was below the minimum. Engine light was on all the time. Speedometer didn’t work. Right brake lever was broken. The woman at the desk did not have a working machine to read my card, so she called a colleague on the phone and read aloud in the hall of the hotel my credit card number. They said that the card machine they had could not block the deposit, so I had to make a credit card payment, which they promised to return with an instant transfer once the rental was over. After more than one month I hadn’t received the 750 euro back, neither by instant transfer, nor by cancelling the 750 euro card payment. My bank says they just need a written confirmation by them that the motorbike was given back without damage. I contacted both the woman at the desk, who did not reply to me, and the Linate coordinator, who just said that they did all they had to do and has not given me or my bank the confirmation that the motorbike was returned without damage yet. At some point the central administration of Fourwheels stepped in and I finally got the money back. Considering I rented the motorbike during Easter time at the last minute and it was probably the last motorbike they had left, I will turn a blind eye to the issues that the motorbike had. But they definitely need to improve their payment process.
