Consider getting a Himalayan 450 or ask for the latest new models available, or take an older one with the best value (risk is the old motorbike may not be in best condition but they provide service at any Royal Enfield service centre and they will refund you if not broken by you of course). A motorbike rental company run by bikers. We hired 2 older Himalayans for a ride to Mandi, Manali, Spiti valley, Dharamshala, Shimla. They were very helpful, honest and had no problems with the motorbikes. Competitive prices. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone. It's also a great holiday experience riding around the Himalayas. The rental shop location is an easy ride into the mountains.
