Five star rental service with Pedro! We rented a scooter for 8 days and had a fantastic time riding as the two of us. The scooters were in excellent condition and had no problem tackling the steep hills around the island. Extremely economical to ride too - €6 for a full tank. We stayed in Furnas and it was the perfect option for exploring the North and South of the island. We’ll be back!

Azores Active Rent staff were all very friendly, they offered a free upgrade of the scooter but also allowed me to keep the originally selected one. We were even supplied with a map of local attractions and a phone holder. The machine transported 2 people and some luggage on the steep mountain roads of the island without problems. The only small issue was that the headlight was slightly off and mostly illuminated the trees above the road instead of the asphalt. All in all, it was great, though! Recommended :)

We were in Calhetas, on the other side of the island. There were no scooter rentals anywhere, but through Riderly, we found Azores Active Rent. The service was excellent, and the owner was super friendly. They even delivered the scooter to our hotel in the evening and returned it to us after we'd returned it in Ponta Delgada. Excellent communication with the owner, and the scooters were excellent. All in all, definitely worth 5 stars.
