The city of Consolacion, also known as Cebu, is quickly becoming one of the more popular places in the Philippines to visit. While it’s still considered a small town, it offers more than enough features to consider visiting, all of which will be easy to get to with a hired scooter or motorbike. Perhaps the most notable reason to visit is the SM Consolaction, which offers multiple amenities, such as a cinema and much more. If you want somewhere less crowded, however, then the Valentin Farm Resort could be worth it. While you’ll need to book ahead in advance, the resort offers multiple ways to relax. You’ll have the life of luxury while you’re there. Then, there’s the Divine Mercy Shrine located in Purok Dagondong in Garing. While construction is still ongoing, it can still be an appealing pilgrimage. If you visit at the right time, preferably in early February, you can also see the Sarok Festival in all of its glory. Held one day a year, it celebrates the area’s culture with there being a lot to see. Lastly is St. Narciso Parish Church. The attraction isn’t just religious; it’s been destroyed and rebuilt multiple times, giving it a certain historical meaning. You might also want to go further afield. If you do, then Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, Tayud, Talisay, and Magay are all popular and attractive places to see. With all of the places you could want to visit in Consolacion/Cebu, Philippines, it’s definitely worth travelling by motorcycle or scooter like many of the locals do, this will allow you to see and experience so much more of this amazing place.
